When & Where
In 2008 the Auckland Motorway Alliance (AMA) was established by the NZ Transport Agency to manage and maintain Auckland’s motorway network, connecting one third of the country’s population. With more than a million trips made on the network daily, and over 51,000 new cars registered in Auckland in the last year, the AMA is challenged to work smarter, harder, and safer, to meet a growing demand.
The AMA brings together the NZ Transport Agency, Fulton Hogan, Opus International Consultants, Beca, Resolve Group and Armitage Systems as well as the Auckland Harbour Bridge Sub-Alliance, to safely deliver operational excellence. This has given us a unified purpose of helping New Zealand grow by keeping Auckland moving.
