Description

This event runs with x2 time slots. Times slots are 10-12pm, or 2-4pm which you select on the registration page. You do not need to print or bring a ticket with you.

Rongoā Maori or traditional Maori medicine encompasses various healing practices that are drawn from nature. Many of these practices have been passed down over many generations.

Come along and learn more from local practitioners as they share stories and some ancient tikanga (customary practices) unique to the area. We explore an area of remnant forest within Queen Elizabeth Park. You are welcome to bring a snack to share for afterwards.

What to bring: pen, paper, suitable shoes for walking, warm clothes, hat, sunscreen, lunch and water.
