Steve and Rosemary Weissman - Silent Day Long Meditation Retreat - Wellington

Day long silent meditation retreat led by Rosemary and Steve Weissman. The day will focus on the development of Compassion and Lovingkindness and is suitable for both beginners and advanced meditators, Buddhist or non-Buddhists, anyone who wishes to find deeper happiness.

Steve and Rosemary have been practicing meditation for 45 years. In 1988, they founded the International Retreat Program at Wat Kow Tahm, a Buddhist Monastery and Meditation Center in Thailand and were the resident teachers for 25 years. They have led 250 retreats to over 8,000 students from over 85 countries. Now based in Australia, they also teach retreats in Switzerland, Germany, and Sweden. Rosemary and Steve are authors of "...with Compassionate Understanding" and "Meditation, Compassion & Lovingkindness".

Cost

The teachings for this retreat are given freely but to help cover costs a $40 registration fee (unwaged $30) does apply. This can be paid in cash on the day or via internet banking (account # 12-3115-0177272-00, please include your name in the reference).

To help support the teachers a donation / dana / koha is appreciated.

Please bring a vegetarian plate of food for a shared lunch.
