Welcome to the Rotorua Festival of Gardens 2025!

Terms & Conditions

  1. Entry to each garden is via a valid festival lanyard. The pass must be inserted into the lanyard and must be always worn while visiting festival gardens.
  2. There will be no refunds. Please think carefully before purchasing tickets. No refunds will be issued for unused passes or lost lanyard/passes.
  3. Passes can be ordered online via this site using the services of the Eventbrite ticketing platform. From 1 September, in person purchases can be made from Palmers Rotorua.
  4. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, notifications will appear on our website and Facebook page as soon as practical.
  5. Gardeners have generously opened their gardens for this event. Please respect their property (and privacy) and refrain from removing any plant material or goods of any kind.
  6. Please adhere to all instructions from garden owners and organisers during the festival.
  7. We recognise gardens have hazards so please read the individual site hazard notices before entering signposted properties. Neither the festival organisers nor the garden owners are liable for any injury, loss or damage that may arise.
  8. Children under 16 must be accompanied (and supervised) by an adult.
  9. No pets are allowed.
  10. Please do not litter.
  11. As this event has strong sustainable values, we encourage recycling. Please leave lanyards at either the last garden visited or drop it off at Palmers.
  12. Any goods for sale in gardens are cash sales only.

​​Festival Guide

● A downloadable digital copy of the festival guidebook will be emailed to pass purchasers.

● The festival pack, including lanyard, will be available for pick up at the festival hub, Palmers Rotorua at 147 Sala Street, from 1 September. Proof of purchase will be required when collecting festival packs either via a mobile phone or a printed copy of the Eventbrite transaction.

● As the festival approaches, news and updates on exact time frames will be publicised via this site, Facebook and Instagram.


Post Purchase Ticket Instructions

Upon registering for an event on Eventbrite, an account linked to your email address is automatically created. To access your tickets, simply log in using the same email address and click on the "Tickets" option from the drop-down menu in your Eventbrite account.

To access your e-ticket from a desktop computer, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Eventbrite account on the Eventbrite website or app.
  2. Click on the "Tickets" tab in the screen's top right-hand corner.
  3. Locate the event you have purchased a ticket for and click on it.
  4. Click the "View Ticket" button to access your e-ticket.
  5. You can print your e-ticket or display it on your smartphone during the festival.

What if it's raining?

The festival will still go ahead if it is raining. We recommend wearing suitable clothing, and by purchasing a three day pass you have more chance of fine weather.

Do you offer refunds?

Sorry we do not offer refunds. Please think carefully before purchasing tickets.

Sorry no pets are allowed.
