Event Details

Presented by: School of Music and Christchurch Arts Festival

Eric Satie’s iconic setting of Platonic dialogues is given a fresh spin by UC singers and instrumentalists, under the direction of Head of Performance, Professor Mark Menzies. In partnership with Wellington duo, Inopportune, this performance will be presented in the beautiful setting of the Recital Room in UC’s Arts Centre facility. Inopportune’s work focuses on experimental sound-based performance practices; together with UC staff and students they boldly reimagine this work for a 21st-century audience.
