School House, one of the first boarding houses of King's College, is celebrating it's 100th year in November!
King's College and the School House Centenary Committee will be celebrating this milestone with an open house on Saturday November 19, 2022 starting at 4.30pm.
The afternoon is as follows:
- 4.30pm: Chapel Service to officially kick-off the centenary event;
- 5.00pm: A welcome at School House and unveiling of a centenary painting by a current School House student;
- 5.20pm: Bar is open, and light snacks available before official speeches and formalities;
- 5.45pm: Official formalities with an address by the current Head of House, Old Collegians, and a special address by a past Housemaster;
- 6.30pm: Mix and mingle
- 9.30pm: Evening comes to an end
School House and the planning committee are excited to welcome back our Old Collegians to celebrate this momentous occasion with our current School House community!
Parking: Student Car Park via access through Golf Avenue
Ticket Price: $65 per person, partners and family are invited and encouraged to attend.
Ticket includes all food and drink for the evening.
In case of inclement weather: We have organised to move the event from an outdoors venue to the Student Dining Hall, inside. This decision will be made as close to the day as possible, and will be communicated with everyone who purchases a ticket.
