Event description
Academics from the Faculty of Science discuss feeling self-doubt, and answer questions from students on their imposter experiences.

About this Event

Imposter Syndrome, or Imposter Experience, is the feeling of being exposed as a 'fraud' in your place of work or study. Many students feel like they're not accomplished enough to be studying in their chosen fields - that everyone around them is smarter, more qualified, better at understanding lecture content.

Many academics feel the exact same way.

Come listen to lecturers and heads of departments from across the Faculty of Science talk about feeling self-doubt, even at the top of the academic ladder.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES ARE FREE. This is an inclusive event with an open floor to discuss mental health in science.
