Description

Sharing the Kaupapa - Quality Relationships in Youth Mentoring, HASTINGS

Thanks to continued funding support from The Tindall Foundation, we are excited to announce this brand new workshop about Quality Relationships in Youth Mentoring.

In 2016 we ran a series of regional workshops on the new Guide to Youth Mentoring. The feedback from these was extremely positive. Participants asked for more and asked us to return to the regions. They specifically requested to explore more about the art of forming and maintaining relationships with young people in mentoring. Hence, we have created this new workshop to meet this need.

You will learn:

  • more about effective mentoring
  • specialised skills to build relationships with young people
  • new frameworks, research and skills to strengthen quality mentoring relationships, available for all levels of mentoring programme delivery, including coordinators, teachers, mentors, youth workers and volunteers.

By bringing these workshops to the regions once again, we hope to strengthen regional and national networks in the well-established youth mentoring community.

Registration fee

There is a small registration fee of $35 inclusive GST and booking fee. Catering is included and you will also receive a copy of the Guide and a comprehensive workbook to take back to work with you.
