Shinrin Yoku
Event Information
About this Event
Experience nature in a way you never have before.
Shinrin Yoku is the Japanese practice of 'Forest Bathing'. You'll be guided on a gentle hour long (approx) walk through Staveley Forest during which you'll experience the rejuvenating relationship between humans and trees; the wonderful health benefits of consciously being in nature.
Forest Bathing is the simple practice of paying attention by slowing down enough to witness what is, in any given moment, and connecting with this in a way that is nurturing and real for us.
In witnessing that we are part-of and not separate from a larger whole, we find an integration, balance and appreciation that can be deeply transformational and healing in a world where separation and disconnection are rapidly the status quo.
Your Shinrin guide will be Jac Lovell of Kakariki Camps.
