Simple Pleasure of Rowing

The St Ayles Skiff, designed by Iain Oughtred and with now over 120 boats built is fast becoming a global phenomina. Inspired by the Shetland island work boats these beautiful craft are incredibly seaworthy and a pleasure to row.

Brought to New Zealand by The New Zealand Coastal Rowing assn, come along and experience the simple pleasure of rowing for yourself. Simply sign up for a spot on one of our Two St Ayles Skiffs or if you have your own suitable rowing craft come along and join us.

Destination will be made up on the night based on the weather, we row for fun, its not hard core or serious racing but more of an opportunity to get some excersize, enjoy our beautiful harbour and share in the company of like minded souls.
