Vanessa SorensonVanessa is the former Managing Director and current Chief Partner Officer for Microsoft NZ. She leads strategy across ANZ’s 10,000+ Microsoft partners, driving cloud innovation and capability-building. With decades in tech - first at Spark, then Microsoft - Vanessa is known for breaking barriers, mentoring women, and championing inclusion at the highest levels.
She doesn’t call herself a “classic techie,” but a purpose-led leader committed to what technology can do for all New Zealanders. She's also a passionate advocate for equal access to tech education, especially for girls in STEM.
Shireen ChettyShireen is the Director of Azure Cloud Solutions at Microsoft NZ. With over 25 years in tech, she leads the charge on Azure growth nationwide, helping Kiwi businesses unlock innovation at scale.
She’s also a fierce advocate for gender diversity in tech. As a champion of the 10K Wāhine program, Shireen is creating pathways for more women to enter and thrive in tech careers—and she’s not afraid to challenge the status quo to make it happen.
