About this event

According to Global Statistics, the number of social media users in the US is one of the highest in the world. In 2022, there were a reported 270.1 million active social media users in the US, accounting for almost 81% of the total connected population of the US.

And video accounted for over 78% of engaged traffic in these mediums.

But does video have to be complicated to work effectively?

Our hands-on workshop will help simplify the process of mapping out and implementing video into your content strategies. We'll share tips, tactics, and resources that empower you to use branded video content in your brand strategy this year.

HOWEVER - There are only 10 seats available at this workshop.

We need to keep the workshop small to ensure we have enough time to get through all of the material, record your videos, and work with each of you on your in-session projects.

What we expect to accomplish during the workshop:

  1. Map out a content strategy for you that incorporates video
  2. Create one selfie-shot video and prepare it with branding
  3. Break for lunch and networking
  4. Record a short 30-second business video card that will be professionally produced and delivered to you at a later date in a web-friendly .mp4 video file

This workshop training is presented by:

- Tanya Troska, owner of Back2Basics Brand Management Solutions, and

- Jason Buczkowski, owner of JB Video Marketing Services and Solutions.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have special video equipment for this workshop?

No. We will be using low-tech self-producing supportive software and will have a professional video producer on-site.

Will I learn about tools I will need to use to create video?

Yes. We're going to cover different ways you can create video to use in your content strategies and various tools and resources that you can use to help you easily meet that goal.

Will this workshop be recorded or photographed?

Yes. We will be taking promotional footage to use for upcoming workshop opportunities, but you will have the ability to opt out of your face/likeness being shown or your name used if you like.

If I have to cancel is the session refundable?

Because the workshop is limited seating, you're committing to taking a seat that someone else may have wanted. Canceling means we may not have the opportunity to refill the space in time to cover the cost of reserved space and food ordered. You can however, transfer your seat to another person.
