This workshop is for leaders of not-for-profit organisations who want to explore the process and challenges of starting a social enterprise. Participants will:
- Explore motivations for social enterprise, such as meeting an unmet need, enhancing mission, or financial sustainability
- Learn from other not-for-profits interested or engaging in social enterprise
- Identify and understand the challenges and opportunities for non-profits to engage in social enterprise
- Consider next steps
This is an interactive workshop that includes learning from Ākina's experienced facilitators, practical work and peer learning. You'll be in a room with other like-minded people, get inspired, and know how to move forward.
