About this Event
ASK (Autism Spectrum Knowledge) training is a series of interactive professional development workshops facilitated by highly qualified, experienced facilitators who work with ASD children on a daily basis.
This training is for:
- Teachers – Primary, Secondary, Tertiary
- SENCOs, RTLBs, Learning Support Coordinators
- Teacher Aides/Teaching Assistants
- Disability Support Workers
- Social Workers / Mental Health Support Workers
- Psychologists, Therapists, GP’s
If you are a professional who engages with children or young people with ASD then these workshops are for you!
The full training programme is made up of 5-6* two hour modules run through the year. Attend one workshop or attend the full series of 5 modules to gain our ASK Professional Training certificate.
Cost: $50 incl GST per module (non-refundable registration fee)
Module 4a -Social Skills & Communication in Over 12's
- Understanding sensory issues in children & young people with ASD
- Practical tools & strategies to implement in your classroom or practice.
If you are an ECE/Primary teacher or working with children under 12 you may prefer to attend Module 4a - Social Skills & Communication in Under 12's

We will be running the full ASK programme (6 modules) again in Terms 3 & 4 of 2020 if you are unable to attend any of our Term 1 & 2 modules.
