About this event

Just five miles from Glastonbury, on the edge of Compton Dundon village in Somerset, EarthSpirit lies within the 'temenos' (sacred enclosure) of Avalon.

Held within the old stone walls of the long barn, beneath a watching Dragon, we shall dream and vision to sounds, in a timeless journey. Profound magic. This beautiful space feels medieval and will be the scene for a whole evening of Sound Journeying with Sika.

Here we will listen to the ancient sounds of Sika's instruments and be transported through dimensions to reconnect and reconvene with the truth of our being.

Sika will play intuitively, sensing into the energy of the space, using his collection of natural instruments, including: didjeridoo, drums, native flutes, rattles, leaves, stones, shells, bones and orchestral sounds.

Sika’s voice and breath also play a vital role in this powerful, shamanic exploration.

Please bring a yoga mat, blanket and cushion to lie or sit on. Also a refillable water container and lidded tea cup. More information will be revealed after booking.

Evening Sound Journey runs from 7.30pm - 9.30pm

Doors open at 7.00pm for a prompt start at 7.30pm.

The centre is situated in a beautiful landscape between two nature reserves; and just two minutes walk from St Andrew's church, which has within its cemetery a yew tree of 1,800 years old. The seventeenth century farm buildings have been restored and specially converted for use as a venue. They are set within seven acres of fields and gardens.

*Evening tickets are separate from daytime workshop tickets.

There is a one-price ticket for both events for you to select at check out.

Daytime Workshop 10.30am - 4.30pm – Thursday 20 June 2024
