Ticket Pricing Policy

EMUGs events offer a multi level ticket price structure to make POCUS education and community initiatives accessible for our whole community.

Full price ticket purchases make it possible for us to provide subsidised ticket options.

We make affordable ticket options available for some groups within our community; including Sonographers, Registrars, Medical Students and doctors in developing countries.

We aim to ensure ticket prices reflect the value of our events.

If you feel that you do not fit into any of the advertised ticket categories for a particular event, or are unable to afford the ticket price, please get in touch with us.

As EMUGs is a not for profit organisation we also provide the opportunity to make an optional tax deductible donation to EMUGs during the ticket purchase process.

Registration Changes and Refunds

In the event that the live conference in Queenstown needs to be cancelled due to COVID-19 and associated restrictions, your ticket will automatically be converted to a virtual registration. Any additional workshop and social function tickets you have purchased will be refunded.

If you live in Australia and have already purchased a live conference ticket but are not able to attend, your ticket will automatically be converted to a virtual conference ticket. Being unable to host live events, EMUGs has been significantly impacted by COVID-19. While we are able to offer a refund for the difference between the live and virtual registration costs, we would greatly appreciate if you choose to gift the difference to EMUGs especially if your ticket has already been reimbursed by your employer. As a gesture of our appreciation, we would like to offer you complimentary attendance at a regional event or conference satelite workshop (if possible) of your choice.

Full refunds are available upon request up to 7 days before the event start date after which time, if government restrictions as a result of COVID-19 prevent the live event going ahead, we will not be able to offer a refund. Your ticket will however be converted to a virtual conference ticket automatically.

Keeping You Safe

We will make every effort to ensure that this event is COVID-safe by adhering the the resort's specific density requirements and COVID-safe plan and by following local government rules and directives to help keep everyone safe.

If you have any symptoms of respiratory illness or other symptoms associated with COVID-19 or you have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, please do not attend this event.
