We warmly invite all families to the annual St Mary’s College Cultural Evening at the Victory Convention Centre with its ample parking and seating. Celebrating our diversity and showcasing the talents of our students is an important part of our college life. There will be 14 groups performing!

We ask that you come and spend the whole evening with us and watch all the performances. Students ranging from Year 7 to Year 13 have been working hard on their dance routines.

Tickets are $4 per person and must be purchased before the evening as there will be no door sales. Doors will open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

Frequently asked questions

Is there parking?

There are 305 parking spaces in the lower car parks. No parking on top plaza deck as this is reserved for staff. Parents can park at school and the surrounding streets and walk down Jacobs ladder.

Is the location wheelchair accessible?

There are 3 designated accessible car parks located within the main basement car park. The accessible car parks are closest to the passenger lifts. 7 accessible parks on the plaza outside the centre. You do require a Mobility Parking Permit to park in our designated car parks.

Are there door sales?

No, as we have limited seating, please purchase a $4 ticket beforehand

Can we purchase food?

Yes, the Pasifika Network Group will be selling a delicious Pasifika food from 5.00pm to 6.15pm. Our sports teams will be running a sausage sizzle. You are advised to bring cash. No food in the auditorium.

What are the guidelines for the audience?

No eating/drinking in the auditorium. No chewing gum. No oil in the centre. No exiting/entering during performances. Performers only are on stage – no members from the audience can be on stage. Under 16's who are not SMC students are to be accompanied by an adult. Do not attend if unwell.

Can I take photos?

The concert will be filmed, please just take photos of your daughter performing.

Can my daughter who is in a cultural group sit with us?

Your daughter will be seated with her cultural group before her performance. After she has performed at the conclusion of her bracket, she is most welcome to sit with you or stay with her cultural group.

If my daughter is in a cultural group, does she need to purchase a ticket?

No, performers do not need to buy tickets.

Can I wait in the lobby for my daughter?

All attendees need to be in the auditorium. We need to keep the lobby area free. Please no entering and exiting during performances.

Are under 5's free?

There is no charge for under 5's however they must be seated on a parents/caregivers lap
