The Centre For Innovation and Entrepreneurship hosts its ‘Start Up School’ lunchtime series giving you the tools and skills to turn your idea into a reality and build your entrepreneurial capability.

Branding for Start-Ups! Open to staff and students at the University of Auckland.

Come along to hear from Richard Brookes about the critical branding issues that any entrepreneur might encounter during the design-led innovation process. In his work-shop session, Richard will use a well-known brand to illustrate some of these issues, from the pre-concept to the post-commercialisation stages.

Open to all students and staff at the University of Auckland.

About the facilitator:

Richard Brookes, Associate Professor in Marketing,The University of Auckland Business School:

Richard is closely involved with executive education (Master of Business Administration, Master of Bioscience Enterprise, and Master of Commercialisation and Entrepreneurship) programmes. He is a winner of both the Business School and The University of Auckland Excellence in Teaching Awards. His major research involves the ‘Contemporary Marketing Practices’ (CMP) project, an international study into the changing nature of marketing practices, for example, the impacts of digital technologies and developments in the processes of innovation and commercialisation, including the evolving nature of product and service design in brand strategies.
