Event description
Auckland has an audacious goal to be zero waste 2040. Are we on track? Be part of the conversation.

About this Event

Waste is a hot topic. Even the most motivated of us can find dealing with waste a challenge.

There are no easy answers and this is a chance to reflect on our personal waste goals, our successes and failures, and ask some burning questions.

What is the state of the current recycling landscape? What is happening overseas and how is this impacting us here?

How can we work together towards a positive waste outcome for Auckland?

With Rick Leckinger, Be a Tidy Kiwi

Marcus Braithewaite, Senior Waste Specialist, Recycling and Inorganics, Auckland Council

And Thomas Peters, Assistant Manager, Waste Initiatives, EcoMatters Environment Trust

Facilitated by Dr Dan Ducker, EcoMatters

Hand sanitizer supplied on entry, please stay at home if you are feeling unwell.
