  • Using design thinking techniques to unlock team creativity & innovation

  • Using collaborative process to break down barriers between teams

  • Engaging with a coaching for performance framework

What’s it all about?

Leaders learn the critical elements of operational versus strategic team leadership. They explore the key dynamics that may be holding them back from making this transition and what’s required for success. Along the way they learn the practical tools required for strategic leadership including leading successful change, building a strategic framework, breaking down silo’s and barriers to high performance both within the team and externally. This is the essential workshop for leaders looking to advance their career to the next level and build stellar team performance.

Learning Outcomes:

  • The ability to differentiate with clarity what you do as a leader that’s operational and strategic and what needs to change to increase your performance

The tools to support your resistance to change and enablers for change

The ability to diagnose the current state of your team’s capacity and capability to meet this change

  • The ability to lead a team to create a strategic framework that supports commitment and accountability

  • The ability to breakdown the barriers to increased performance through shared accountability, innovation learning and collaboration

Who’s it for?

This programme is for leaders of teams of all sizes who are:

  • Bored with the status quo and want to inject energy, enthusiasm and performance into their leadership style and team

  • Overwhelmed with doing it all themselves and recognise that the time has come to move from operational to strategic leadership and offer greater value in a practical way that sustains and improves team performance

  • Passionate about leading their team to embrace change and want to learn how to engage their team in the capabilities for success such as innovation, collaboration and agile learning

  • Keen to learn and grow as a leader not just for personal gain but recognising that they have a responsibility to create the environment for their people to excel

Why is team leadership important?

In today’s business world of hyper-activity which continually demands an ‘always on’ and ‘always striving for excellence’ mentality, leaders now need to be equipped with the skills and capabilities to lead collaborative, high performing teams in order to deliver on their business objectives. It’s not an easy feat and requires a significant amount of time and effort. What may surprise you is not all high-performing teams are collaborative, and not all collaborative teams are high-performing. So how do you create the power of team so it is both collaborative and high performing? Put simply – the magic happens when you combine three essential ingredients – Context, Connection and Clarity together which allows anything to be made possible.
