Event description
This seminar is for parents of youth struggling with anxiety or depression. Presented by Angela Wheeler

About this Event

When someone starts to feel anxious or has a panic attack, the body behaves in a very specific way. This is dictated by our brain and nervous system. When you understand how the body works in conjunction with the mind and psyche, changes to patterns and experiences can be made, which allows the person to have a new way of relating to their triggers and skills to cope with the process.

Angela will explain what happens in the physiology of the body during stressful times, why this happens and offer parents tools to help them slow down their child's reaction and help them regain control of their body and mind.

Angela is a Craniosacral Therapist who has worked clinically with adults and children for 20 years. She has certification in trauma studies, Immunology and adult teaching. Angela teaches world-wide in the cranial field and has taught many classes on the nervous system and it's relationship to stress, anxiety and depression.

Whilst admission to this event is free, MHP do pay the presenter, so we ask that if you reserve a space to this seminar please commit to coming or cancel your ticket on Eventbrite to allow others to attend. A donation to the Mind Health Project would be gratefully accepted.
