Stronger than Silence with Jazz Thornton

We are excited to welcome Jazz Thornton to Te Pou Ō Mata-Au on Thursday 16th October at 7.00pm. Jazz will share her journey of navigating the depths of mental illness, surviving suicide attempts and transforming her pain into purpose.

Join us to hear her impactful story and leave feeling empowered that life is worth living.

Doors open from 6:30pm and Jazz starts speaking at 7:00pm. There will be an opportunity for a Q&A session at the conclusion of the evening following which, we invite you to join us for supper with the opportunity to get a photo with Jazz.

Does a parent or caregiver need to accompany a young person to this event?

This is entirely up to you, we have been assured that the material will be suitable for ages 12+, and obviously if parents/caregivers do want to go with their young person they will need to purchase their own ticket.
