Supporting ākonga with disruptive, impulse control & conduct disorders (TA)
Overview
Designed for teacher aides across Aotearoa New Zealand, this course provides an introduction to a range of disruptive, impulse control, and conduct disorders. You'll explore many common characteristics associated with behaviours that impact students' learning and explore classroom environmental factors that can act as triggers. Your learning will cover easy-to-implement practical strategies to help you support ākonga to learn and better manage any behaviour that distracts from learning.
Ideal for teacher aides at all levels who support ākonga with disruptive, impulse control, and conduct disorders, or for those who want to expand their knowledge of how to work effectively with neurodiverse learners.
Cost: $99 + GST per participant. 10% discount for three or more from the same school or kura.
