Sydney - Practical Paediatric Workshop

Overview:

With a solid understanding of transport plans, we will then focus on the solutions available within Special Purpose Car Seats and Vehicle Harnesses. In this practical session, participants will gain insight into the nuances of installing selected Special Purpose Car Seats and explore resources which are accessible in the community to support safe installation and family education.

Participants will be introduced to the 5-Step Test, learning how it can guide the decision between a Special Purpose Car Seat and a Vehicle Harness. We will also cover key adjustments for selected Special Purpose Car Seats, ensuring that attendees leave the session feeling confident and empowered to address their client’s postural and behavioural support needs during transport.
