Sydney - Supported Lying & Positioning (Level 2) Practical Workshop

Overview:

Do you understand the theory of 24-hour postural care but want hands-on experience applying it to your clients?

In this interactive half-day workshop, you will explore supported lying and positioning solutions through practical application. Gain first-hand experience differentiating between informal and formal sleep systems, working directly with products to understand their role in postural care interventions.

You'll collaborate with colleagues to trial and apply these solutions, using a real case study to guide your clinical reasoning. By the end of the session, you'll develop product parameters and be prepared to plan an effective trial for at-risk clients.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this half-day workshop, you will:

1. Demonstrate hands-on experience and confidence with Medifab’s supported lying and positioning range
2. Differentiate between informal and formal supported lying and positioning solutions
3. Identify clinical indicators for supported lying and positioning interventions.
4. Apply knowledge to a real-life case study
   
   This workshop can be completed alone or with the level 1 workshop.
