Come along to this 'Plastic Free July' talk at the Waitakere Community Resource Centre in Henderson, and learn how you can dramatically reduce your household waste, one simple step at a time. All participants take home a beeswax wrap!

Juliet Dale is the founder of The Great Eco Challenge, a project all about encouraging and educating kiwis to reduce the waste that their household sends to landfill. No preaching, no judging. Progress, not perfection.

Tutor: Juliet Dale, The Great Eco Challenge

Cost: Koha

Juliet Dale is the creator of The Great Eco Challenge, an online project that aims to educate and encourage NZers to minimise their household waste. She is just a normal kiwi who is insanely passionate about reducing the waste we send to landfill. By making small changes, one step at a time, she and her family of 5 reduced their waste by 70% in less than a year, and now, she loves helping others to cut back their household waste too.

Co-hosted by Community Waitakere and EcoMatters Environment Trust
