Tāne’s Tamariki aims to enhance your engagement with your local park- through play, exploration and education.

Tāne’s Tamariki is a 2 hour FREE play-based, child-led, sensory experience, designed to connect you and your tamariki / moko with nature, through nature-based activities aimed at 0-4 years (although all ages love it!).

Attendees will learn about native flora and fauna, how to care for your natural surroundings, develop a sense of kaitiakitanga, and discover the beautiful park on your doorsteps.

- Cost: Free

- Suitable for children of all ages though aimed at 0-4 years old with parent supervision.

- Bookings are essential as numbers are limited.

- Please register all those attending including children and all adult supervisors

- Vaccination passes will be required at this event, except for children under 12
