About this event

Recent studies have suggested that the adoption of Te Reo and Te Ao in organisations result in noticeable benefits to employee engagement and experience as well as financial benefits to the organisations.

How do organisations embark on this journey and how do they do it in a way that is authentic and genuine and not window dressing? What impact does this have on HR practice and what role can we play to start and enhance the journey?

With many organisations on an evolving and transformative journey for Te Ao Māori, there are many threads and ideas that already exist. How we extend these in a new direction to become a more inclusive organisations where people thrive is key - broadening our stakeholder engagement, our approach, and our policy knowledge. How we see ourselves and how we are viewed by our customers, but in our own organisational unique way - partnership, protection, and participation.

The Taranaki Branch of Human Resources New Zealand presents an event that captures both topics of Te Ao Māori and Te Wiki o te Reo Māori – an evolving and responsible strategy.

We’ll also present some ideas to explore to help your organisation plan for Māori Language Week on 13-19 September.
