Welcome to Taste K`apiti!

With successful events in Whanganui, Kāpiti, and now Tauranga, each Taste Festival is thoughtfully curated to bring together local producers, food trucks and live music in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Founded and run by event professionals with a passion for local culture and connection, Taste K`apiti is a high-quality food and drink experience in a vibrant and relaxed setting that doubles as a perfect end-of-year celebration for friends & families, teams & businesses.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an all ages event?

No, with all of our delicious alcoholic beverages on offer, this is strictly a R18 event.

Can I bring food or drink into this event?

We have a wonderful selection of food and drinks on offer, you are unable to bring your own refreshments into this event.

What happens if it rains?

This event will go ahead in the case of light rain, however if the weather becomes too wild/dangerous we will cancel and you will receive a full refund on your ticket.

What's included in a VIP ticket/Corporate table?

Your VIP ticket includes a delicious lunch, two signature cocktails, and access to our exclusive VIP area with premium seating and shade.

Can I buy a full table for my workplace or group?

Yes! Corporate VIP tables are available for group bookings – a perfect option for end-of-year celebrations or Christmas work dos. Each table seats 10 guests, please email hello@tastefestivals.nz if you would like us to accommodate a unique booking.

What does my GA ticket get me?

Access to the event and the live entertainment. On arrival you will receive a reuseable vessel and lanyard to be able purchase beverages from our wonderful vendors.
