About this event

Community • Other

As part of the Indigenous Women in Agriculture Knowledge Exchange Project between TPOW orangawhenua.nz and CSIRO www.csiro.au , the symposium will explore the deep and enduring relationships Indigenous women have with land, food systems, cultural knowledge, and community wellbeing. Together, we will share stories, practices, challenges, and opportunities to strengthen Indigenous-led approaches to caring for Country and Whenua.

This symposium will provide a unique space to:

  • Celebrate and amplify the voices and leadership of Indigenous women in agriculture and land stewardship
  • Facilitate cross-cultural and trans-Tasman knowledge exchange
  • Support intergenerational learning and storytelling
  • Build relationships and collaborative networks for future initiatives

We are deeply grateful to CSIRO and the Indigenous Women in Agriculture Knowledge Exchange team for their generous support as the major sponsor for this event.
