Event description

Description

Gain a better understanding of the bicultural nature of Aotearoa New Zealand and what Te Tiriti means for tertiary practitioners and educators.

Who is this course for?

For those Tauiwi (who are descendants of original Pākehā settlers with little previous knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi).

While this workshop is targeted at practitioners and educators in the tertiary sector, it is also pertinent to anyone who seeks to gain a better understanding of the bicultural nature of our country, and of tertiary education sector practices.

In-house workshops can be customised to three separate types of audiences:

  1. Tangata Whenua (Māori)
  2. Tauiwi (Descendants of original Pākehā settlers)
  3. Tauiwi (New New Zealanders).
