About this event

The Tuakiri o Te Tangata is an indigenous approach to understanding identity created by the late Dr Kāterina Mataira. It is a concept that has its foundation in tikanga Māori approaches and spirituality.

This wānanga seeks to introduce participants to exploring te ao Māori concepts and ways of practically implementing this knowledge within the workplace or home. It is an engaging interactive wānanga, utilising te ao Māori narratives, te reo Māori, leading to pathways of strengthening Māori health and wellbeing.

This programme is delivered over two days, from Te Rau Ora office 233 Anglesea Street, Hamilton. Delivery takes place between 9.30am to 3.30pm. Nau mai haere mai!
