Explore the Christchurch family home where Kate led a campaign of national and international activism, planning strategies with leading feminists of the time, and pasting together the pages of the monster 31,872-signature women's suffrage petition.

Stroll through the garden where Kate received the telegram on 19 September 1893 confirming that women had been granted the vote.

Parking

Limited parking is available on the street. Please allow extra time for parking during university term time. Try the University of Canterbury's pay and display Clyde carpark on Arts Road (5 minute walk), or take bus 100 or 120, which both have stops outside on Clyde Road. Please contact us prior to booking if you require accessible parking.
