The Ministry of Education and the New Zealand Council for Educational Research (NZCER) invite you to a Zoom webinar: Teaching, School and Leadership Practices (TSP) online survey tool and regionally-allocated PLD, presented by Cathie Johnson, NZCER.
The focus of this session is the TSP online survey tool, which is available again this year for use in terms 2 and 3, and how it can support your regionally-allocated PLD journey.
The TSP items are based on robust research about effective practices that underpin the New Zealand Curriculum’s dimensions of effective pedagogy, ERO’s school evaluation indicators, the Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Educational Leadership Capability Framework.
The tool is free, quick and confidential. 600 schools have used TSP since its launch in 2017. Principals receive reports immediately.
One principal recently summed up the TSP survey as a ‘one stop shop’ to get useful evidence and insights for her school review and planning, and for her own development.
These sessions will be relevant to teachers, leaders, principals, tumuaki, kaiako, PLD Leads, PLD facilitators, PLD provider organisations, and regional office Ministry staff.
