This webinar will focus on a discussion and demonstration of OpenLaw NZ that can provide online help in finding and analysing large volumes of legal information, e.g. court decisions, in New Zealand.
OpenLaw NZ is a new and free legal research platform. Its purpose is to help increase availability and accessibility of online legal information freely to the public: https://www.openlaw.nz/

Note: OpenLaw NZ is a grantee for research funded by the New Zealand Law Foundation. Collaborators for this research project are Tom Barraclough and Curtis Barnes. Lead researcher Tom Barraclough says, “The core goal is to develop automated tools that greatly reduce the time and expertise necessary to conduct legal research, both academic and practical.
