Terrific Taniwha Workshop

Tuesday 1st July, Foyer outside Franklin Arts Centre

Half hourly sessions between 10 – 12.30

Celebrate Matariki with a fun kids’ art workshop inspired by the legend of a terrific taniwha called Taawhaki from Mangatangi Stream! Children will explore storytelling through clay and craft, bringing the taniwha to life with a 3d scanner. A hands-on cultural experience celebrating local pūrākau and imaginative expression with Kaiako Jean, and Trudy. All ages welcome!
