Event Information
Description
These classes are suitable for beginners and those with some experience.
Explore how to apply colour, images and texture to fabric, and experiment with colour, sewing, and design. You will learn various dyeing processes, such as tie dyeing/Shibori and natural dyeing with plants and foods, as well as different ways of printing and stamping fabrics. Try new techniques and extend your skills, and work on your own projects during class.
Please note: in addition to the course fee, please expect to pay for some further textile printing inks and dyes beyond those used in technical demonstrations. Costs will depend on the quantity of ink/dye needed for individual projects.
Printmaking classes are taught by Karyn Wilson.
One weekly class per term (8x week duration): Wednesdays, 6.00-8.00pm.
