The event is for all secondary students (year 10+) who have an interest in learning more about jazz performance and getting a chance to meet and play with other talented students from all over Aotearoa. We also welcome music educators who want to upskill in jazz pedagogy to participate as well.

Fee: $99

Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships are available. If you wish to apply, please email a 250-word letter explaining why you want to participate in the Jazz Academy, plus a short letter of recommendation from your music teacher to jazz Kaikotuitui (coordinator) Keith Price (keith.price@auckland.ac.nz).
