Ulysses Club (NZ) Inc., North Harbour Branch is proud to have brought back "The Ronnie Run" in 2015 after an absence of many years. Last years inaugural run raised over $8,500 for Ronald McDonald House Auckland.
This charity motorcycle run is focused on raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Auckland. Please see our fundraising page through Give-A-Little to raise additional support for the House.
Registrations ONSITE opens at 9:00am on Sunday 13th November 2016. Make your way to the North Harbour Hockey Stadium (60 Paul Matthews Drive) where you will be directed into the designated parking area for motorcycles, trikes and spyders.
The main Event Admin is in the main building at North Harbour Hockey Stadium, 60 Paul Matthews Drive, Albany. There will be plenty of signs directing you to the rider/pillion registration office which is in the main building in between the two hockey fields for you to collect your badges and T-shirts.. There will be plenty of helpers and marshalls on the day to help you with parking, registration, food and beverages.
Coffee and refreshments are available from 9am at the Cafe in the main building and at the end of the run.
PLEASE NOTE that the run will leave from Albany at 10:30am under Police escort. It will exit from the western carpark at the Hockey Stadium, 60 Paul Matthews Drive onto the north-western motorway to Ronald McDonald House in Grafton (approx 35 mins). We will stop and park outsidethe House to allow families from RMHA and Starship/Auckland Hospital to view the bikes on display. There will be a sauages sizzle, drinks and coffee available outside the House - so bring some cash to purchase.
This will be followed by prize giving outside RMHA Grafton. We have some awesome prizes from Heritage Hotels, Cyclespot, Techmoto and many others.
At the conclusion of the prize giving you are free to depart and continue the day. We are sure that if the weather holds, a number of riders will want to take advantage of the riding conditions and head out to other destinations.
Thank you to our founding sponsors - Heritage Hotels, Apex Trophies, Henry Schein New Zealand, Cyclespot Group and Techmoto - along with the many other businesses and organisations that are assisting with this special event. Special thanks to North Harbour Hockey, Auckland City Council, Auckland Transport, and New Zealand Police for their support.
