Event description

Description

One of the most important sets of skills for leaders and coaches are facilitation skills. These are the 'process skills' used to guide and direct key areas in an organisation. Good facilitation makes the difference between event success or failure. Learn how to be an effective facilitator, and find out how to develop the skills for the role.

What's it all about?

At this workshop you'll learn how to plan, guide and manage a group or event to ensure that objectives are met effectively, with clear thinking, good participation and buy-in from those involved.

JumpShift has trained 100's of people in facilitation skills across a number of organisations. Many of these people are now facilitation experts within their organisations and some make their living as facilitation consultants.

The programme includes a full day workshop, plus a two hour virtual follow up session. Additionally you will receive a comprehensive A5 facilitation toolkit for future reference, and an online workspace for action planning, collaboration and soft copy resources.

Key Takeaways

Allows you to make a case for why a facilitated process is the right method to use (very important)

  • Plan and run the facilitated session so that it will get actionable outcomes that the participants have strong buy in to
  • Follow up the facilitated session so that it delivers outcomes to your organisation
  • Sets in place a culture of constantly improving facilitation skills.
These skills and supporting processes are equally powerful for facilitating learning based and business problem solving focused workshops.
