Be part of this special occasion as we mark the beginning of a new chapter in shaping climate-ready communities and landscapes. The Kāika Institute of Climate Resilience will serve as a hub for knowledge, collaboration, and action—bringing together researchers, iwi, industry, and communities to co-design solutions for a changing climate.
The event will open with a mihi whakatau and waiata led by Ngāi Te Ruahikihiki ki Taumutu, honouring the mana whenua of this place and grounding the kaupapa in partnership and respect.
Come and celebrate the launch of an initiative dedicated to building resilience for people and the environment, now and for generations to come.
