We invite you to 'The Road to Resilience' Symposium - explore and learn about the challenges and opportunities that arise from becoming truly resilient, by focussing on the wellsprings of resilience...
- a staunch acceptance of reality;
- a deep belief, often buttressed by strongly held values, that life is meaningful;
- and an uncanny ability to improvise.
With an International Speaker, key sector influencers and a wide range of participants, this one-day event promises not only a great speaker line up, but a series of challenging conversations and interactive learning labs where delegates will be able to connect for future collaborations.

10.30am - 11.10am: Speaker – Dr Katarina Simon: Dr Katarina Simon, is second doctorate candidate, tangata whaiora, mental health client with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and single parent carer of three adult sons, two of whom are high complex needs patients including schizophrenia, drug addiction, type one diabetes and PTSD.
