Webinar 1: Tools for Change:

Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope (PATH).

In this free Community Research webinar, Kataraina Pipi (Ngāti Porou, Ngāti Hine) will share her knowledge of the Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope (PATH) tool. PATH is a creative planning tool that incorporates aspirations, proposed achievements, values and a range of other considerations alongside an action plan. PATH is being used in a variety of contexts in Aotearoa/NZ - as a person-centred planning tool for individuals, a whānau planning tool, and also for strategic and organisational planning.

Kataraina will be joined by Mere Ruru from Ikaroa Rangatahi Social Services, Paora Te Hurihanganui from Te Papa Takaro o Te Arawa and Natasha Kemp from Te Kaha o Te Rangatahi Trust to share their expereinces of using the PATH tool in their work with youth, health/social services, in an Iwi/Māori context and with young offenders.

About the Presenter

Kataraina Pipi is of Ngāti Porou and Ngāti Hine descent. She is Auckland based, but works nationally as one of the National PATH Facilitation Trainers and was trained by Jack Pearpoint ( Kataraina is also a highly sought after Facilitator, Evaluator and Composer/Musician. Kataraina is well known for her use of creative approaches to working with individuals and groups.
