Join us for the World Report Launch Webinar: Tools for Equity – Addressing Social Determinants in Aotearoa and the Pacific.

Hosted by Te Poutoko Ora a Kiwa (Centre for Pacific and Global Health) and the School of Population Health, University of Auckland, this event marks the regional launch of the World Report on Social Determinants of Health Equity.

This one-hour webinar brings together leading experts to explore how the findings of the World Report can inform action on health equity across Aotearoa New Zealand and the Pacific region. Speakers will discuss pathways for collaboration, translation of global evidence into local policy, and the steps needed to build equitable systems and healthy communities.

Speakers include:

  • Professor Alistair Woodward – Translating global evidence into local policy
  • Dr Kumanan Rasanathan – Cross-sector collaboration and implementation lessons
  • Professor Sir Collin Tukuitonga – Regional relevance and Pacific leadership
  • Professor Judith McCool – Education, leadership, and frameworks for action
  • Dr Corina Grey - Closing Reflections
