Tour Oma Rāpeti ELC
Event Information
About this Event
Our centre will be open from 10 - 11. We will kick off at 10.15 with a brief talk from our owner Nikki about who we are and what we are about. Followed by a tour throughout the rooms.
There is plenty of parking both in our car park and on the street.
Your children are more than welcome to attend alongside you, we would love to meet them!
Why we run open days as opposed to tours:
There are a couple of reasons. The first being that it enables the teaching team to be able to focus on you, your whanau and your questions.
The second reason; it ensures we are protecting the wellbeing of our infants (particularly under 2). It can be quite overwhelming for the children with lots of adults coming through the centre (particularly in our under 2 years) on a daily basis. We will still tour through if this open day format doesn't work for you (or if we have offered you a position) however we do thank you in advance for your understanding on why we are careful to limit tours through our centre.
Lastly, if you are concerned that you might not see the centre authentically in action, don't worry you will be able to visit prior to accepting a position again if you like. The Open Day is just the best way to start the journey with us. It gives you time to chat to the management team, then if you decide you want to join us and we offer you a spot you are absolutely more than welcome to come into the centre during the opening hours to see it "in action."
If you have any questions around the open day format vs your own tour, just reach out, we are happy to help.
