Are you thinking about university next year but unsure which subjects to take?

Discover the Bachelor of Arts with UC POSSIBILITIES!

15 – 17 April / 8:45am – 2:00pm (each day)

What's involved?

  • Come to UC for one, two or three days depending on subject interests
  • Attend lectures delivered by our leading experts and learn about various career options
  • Explore the campus
  • Find out about clubs and student life
  • Learn about scholarships and other benefits of coming to UC
  • Great chance to meet other students

DAY ONE

Focus on: Global Studies
Subjects covered: Political Science and International Relations, Classics, European and European Union studies, History, Languages (Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, French, German), Mathematics, Statistics  

Plus: Hear more about the Professional and Community Engagement (PACE) internship programme – one of the largest Arts internship programmes in Australasia, which offers internships across New Zealand and internationally, including group programmes to both China and Thailand.


DAY TWO

Focus on: People and Society
Subjects covered: Anthropology, Education, Human Services, Māori and Indigenous Studies, Music, Sociology, Art History and Theory, Cinema Studies

Plus: Receive an introduction to our clubs and go on a tour around our historic campus.


DAY THREE

Focus on: Communication and Behaviour
Subjects covered: Digital Humanities, English and Cultural Studies, Linguistics and English Language, Media and Communication, Psychology, Philosophy

Plus: After exploring all the subjects you can take as part of the Bachelor of Arts we want you to look beyond. What can you do with a major in History or Philosophy? We will give you an outlook of how you can turn your passion into a career. There are a wide range of employers specifically looking for the skills you develop as an Arts students - some of them from areas you wouldn’t expect.

Register for one, two or all three days - it's up to you!

Nothing and you get free lunch every day!
