LINE UP CHANGE: 😥
Unfortunately due to the ongoing impacts of COVID-19, James Roque, Craig Westenberg and Nick Rado are unable to perform at UCSA O.Week '22 | Boss Coffee Comedy Club (R17) this evening.
However the show must go on!
Our team has been hard at work to confirm a new line up for tonight’s shows. Joining Itay Dom and Audrey Porne are:
➡️ Jack Ansett
➡️ Keegan Govind
➡️ Taylor Ruddle
➡️ w/ MC Alan McElroy
Featuring:
Jack Ansett
Jack performs with that youthful enthusiasm we all pretend to love but secretly despise.
At the age of 16 he was a 2015 Raw Quest Finalist. Apart from NCEA Level One, that is his greatest achievement to date.
With a level of self awareness rarely found in any performer Jack is an act who will genuinely surprise you, Jack is not a performer you should overlook.
Audrey Porne
South Island performer Audrey Porne won the SI Breakthrough Comedian at the 2019 NZ Comedy Guild Awards and was nominated again in 2020. Her absurdist dark humour, unhinged silliness and quick style have helped her become an unforgettable name in the NZ comedy industry. Described by critics as having "well-honed skills of both scripting and delivery", Audrey is one to watch.
Itay Dom
With a distinctive look and delivery style, Itay mixes observational material and conversational riffs to perform some good as comedy.
Keegan Govind
Funny, socially relevant, inquisitive, intense and a bit reckless. From his personal life to bunk beds, nothing is off limits. When not doing comedy he is at the gym, doing yoga and hating himself.
2017 Raw Quest finalist and product of NZ comedy scene.
Taylor Ruddle
Taylor Ruddle had no idea he would dive headfirst into the world of comedy when he fled his job as a pizza delivery boy by moving to Japan in 2014. Six years later, he hasn’t looked back and is enjoying every second of it.
Taylor’s “Disarmingly laid-back with a twinkle in his eye disguising a sharply honed wit.” If you like clever jokes, pop culture and laughing at someone else’s misfortune, you’ll have a great time
MC – Alan McElroy
After temporarily paralysing his mother during child birth with his unusually large cranium, Dubliner Alan McElroy dragged his heavy noggin around, accumulating scratches and scrapes from the never ending sand paper like floor covering that devoured Ireland in the 1980s.
It took 28 years before Alan grew into his own mallet-of-head and was finally able to leave Ireland and fly to New Zealand, without being forced to pay a large extra baggage fee.
Now he regularly performs on the Auckland scene to laughter, LAUGHTER!
