A two day workshop to strengthen knowledge, understanding, skills and ministry practice

NOTE THIS IS A TWO DAY WORKSHOP:

Friday 23 July AND Friday 30 July. By registering for this workshop you are committed to attending both days.

Please feel free to arrive from 8.30am for a cuppa and mingling.

Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided. BYO lunch.

About Our Facilitator Tricia Hendry

Tricia Hendry is an educator, presenter, and published writer specialising in topics relating to loss, grief, trauma, wellbeing, and resilience. She has known loss and tragedy herself, including the death of her husband, Michael, a Baptist minister, by suicide. Formerly a secondary teacher and youth worker, Tricia served in church ministry for 12 years. Later she worked at Skylight for 15 years, a national grief and trauma support agency, where she became the deputy chief executive and developed many nationally and internationally used support resources. Today Tricia serves on the National Advisory Group for Suicide Bereavement and Postvention, facilitated by the Mental Health Foundation for the Ministry of Health. She works independently for a wide range of NGOs, churches and government organisations. She is also a qualified professional supervisor. Tricia is a mother to three, grandmother to two, and married to Adrian. She worships at All Saints Anglican, Hataitai in Wellington.
