About this event

Anxiety has become very common amongst our children and it can be extremely confusing for parents to know what to do - in fact parents can become anxious in trying to find something that will help. This presentation will look at:

  • what might be happening for the child
  • possible causes
  • strategies to help

Sandy Hitchens Bio:

Born and bred in Ashburton, Sandy currently Sandy lives in Christchurch and is married with four adult children . Sandy is a counsellor who specialises in working with children and their families in both school settings and through private practice. She has over 20 years of experience working with children and youth through church-based programmes and groups.
