When I’m 65: Heading towards retirement (Evening session for all staff and partners, including retained members)

About this Event

WHEN I’M 65 – HEADING TOWARDS RETIREMENT

We start by looking at how long you’re likely to live, how to set a retirement savings goal, and ways you can more easily attain your goal. Then we consider whether you should tackle reducing debt - including your mortgage - before saving. Next, it’s what sort of investments are suitable for you to reach your goal. And finally, we consider briefly whether money is the most important aspect of retirement preparation.

• The big picture

• Setting a savings goal

• Debt? Mortgage? Saving? Where to start

• (A short break)

• What to invest in

• Where are we?
